Overview

Gameplay Mechanics

The game features a single-player campaign set in a research facility on Mars. Players navigate enclosed environments, primarily utilizing ranged weapons.

• Weaponry: A selection of firearms is available, including pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, plasma guns, and rocket launchers. Ammunition is a finite resource.
• Flashlight: A distinct mechanic involves a separate flashlight item. The player cannot wield a weapon and the flashlight simultaneously. This necessitates switching between combat and illumination.
• Enemy Encounters: Combat often involves confronting demonic entities in close quarters. Enemies exhibit varied attack patterns and resistances.
• Environmental Interaction: Limited environmental interaction includes accessing computer terminals, operating machinery, and utilizing health and armor pickups.

Story and Setting

The narrative centers on a UAC (Union Aerospace Corporation) research facility on Mars. The player assumes the role of a Marine assigned to the facility. A scientific experiment malfunctions, resulting in a demonic invasion from Hell. The primary objective is to survive the invasion and contain the threat.
