Half a year of sales data is in, and the picture across Europe, the UK and the US is clearer than usual. Here is what people are actually buying in 2026 — and what each game offers.

Europe's Top Sellers

European charts through June put EA Sports FC 26 at number one, topping the charts in 13 of the 17 countries analysed. Football remains the continent's common language. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream took second place, with a particularly strong showing in France. Resident Evil Requiem rounded out the top three.

The UK Picture

Resident Evil Requiem was the UK's best-selling game of the first six months. The British market tends to track the US more closely than the rest of Europe — shooters, sports titles and big-budget horror do well there.

The US Picture

Resident Evil Requiem also leads the American charts for the year so far, followed by Crimson Desert, 007 First Light, MLB The Show 26 and Forza Horizon 6.
