Game Overview

Summum Aeterna is a fast-paced rogue-lite action game. Players assume the role of the King of Darkness, a powerful warlord and immortal being, as they navigate procedurally generated worlds. The core gameplay loop involves exploring these worlds, engaging in combat, and dying to return to the stronghold. Each death brings progress in terms of unlocked abilities and upgrades.

Key Features

• Rogue-lite Mechanics: Experience permadeath within individual runs, but maintain persistent progress through a meta-progression system. Unlocked upgrades, weapons, and abilities carry over between runs.
• Procedurally Generated Worlds: Explore a variety of unique worlds generated each time you begin a new run. These worlds feature different biomes, enemies, and challenges, ensuring no two runs are identical.
• Fast-Paced Combat: Engage in dynamic, real-time combat utilizing a range of melee and ranged weapons. Master various combat styles and adapt to different enemy types and boss encounters.
• Weapon Customization: Discover and equip numerous weapons with unique traits and abilities. Further customize your loadout to suit your preferred playstyle.
• Persistent Upgrade System: Invest resources acquired during runs into a comprehensive upgrade tree. Enhance the King of Darkness's base stats, unlock new skills, and improve weapon effectiveness.
• World Seeds: Utilize a "seed" system to influence the generation of new worlds. This allows for a degree of control over the types of challenges and rewards encountered in each run.
