Monster Train 2 is a strategic deck-building roguelike, the direct sequel to Monster Train. Players are tasked with defending the last Pyre from the forces of Heaven, requiring the construction of powerful decks and strategic unit placement across multiple levels of a moving train.

The core gameplay loop involves:

• Deck Construction: Players build and refine their decks using a diverse pool of unit, spell, and upgrade cards. Each run offers opportunities to acquire new cards and enhance existing ones.
• Tactical Combat: Battles take place across three distinct floors of the Monster Train. Units are deployed to defend the Pyre at the top floor, with enemies ascending the train each turn. Strategic placement and ability timing are crucial for victory.
• Faction System: The game features a variety of factions, each with unique mechanics, units, and spell cards. Combining two factions at the start of each run allows for diverse deck archetypes and synergistic playstyles.
• Roguelike Progression: Each run is unique, with randomized card rewards, artifacts, and challenges. Permanent progression is achieved through unlocking new cards, champions, and gameplay modifiers.
• Expanded Content: Monster Train 2 introduces new factions, champions, units, and spells compared to its predecessor. Additional gameplay mechanics and environmental hazards are also integrated into the run structure.
• Multiplayer Features: The game includes competitive multiplayer modes where players can test their deck-building prowess against others, as well as cooperative modes to tackle challenges together.

This product provides a digital key for Monster Train 2, redeemable on either the Xbox Series X/S console or PC. The key is region-restricted to Europe.
