Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is an action RPG with town-building elements. The game serves as a prequel to the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, exploring some of the lore and characters that will appear in the main title. Players control three distinct characters: CJ, Garoo, and Isha. Each character possesses unique abilities and combat styles, which can be swapped between instantly during gameplay to create varied combat sequences. * CJ: A scavenger adept at fast-paced attacks and utilizing her environment. * Garoo: A powerful mercenary focused on heavy attacks and defensive maneuvers. * Isha: A magic-user capable of elemental attacks and support spells. The core gameplay loop involves exploring various dungeons and wilderness areas, battling diverse enemy types, and collecting resources. These resources are then used to rebuild the town of New Nevaeh, which has been devastated by an earthquake. Town-building progresses through completing quests for its residents, which in turn unlocks new facilities, upgrades for existing ones, and enhancements for the player characters. The narrative follows CJ's journey as she seeks to uncover the secrets of the Runebarrows and the impending threats to the world. The game features a 2.5D art style, combining 2D character sprites with 3D environments. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising offers a standalone experience while laying groundwork for the larger Eiyuden Chronicle universe. This product provides an Xbox Live key for use on Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms, restricted to European regions.
