The Dead by Daylight - Curtain Call Chapter expands the asymmetrical multiplayer (4v1) survival horror experience with new content. This downloadable content (DLC) introduces one new Killer, The Clown, and one new Survivor, Kate Denson, alongside a new map, Father Campbell's Chapel.Killer: The Clown
Known as Jeffrey Hawk, The Clown utilizes his unique ability, Afterpiece Antidote, to manipulate the battlefield. This allows him to throw vials that release a gas. Survivors caught in the gas experience impaired vision and reduced movement speed. The Clown can also trigger the Afterpiece Antidote's secondary effect, the Afterpiece Tonic, which creates a cloud of gas that further distorts vision and causes disoriented movement for affected Survivors. The Clown comes with three unique perks:
- Coulrophobia: Reduces the healing speed of Survivors within the Killer's terror radius.
- Pop Goes the Weasel: After hooking a Survivor, the next generator kicked by the Killer loses a significant percentage of its current progress instantly.
- Bamboozle: Vaulting a window blocks it for a short duration for Survivors.
Survivor: Kate Denson
Kate Denson is a free-spirited entertainer who brings three personal perks to the game:
- Window of Opportunity: Reveals the auras of nearby pallets and vault locations.
- Dance With Me: When performing a fast vault or exiting a locker, your scratch marks are suppressed for a short duration.
- Boil Over: When carried by the Killer, your wiggling causes the Killer to be disoriented, and you obscure the auras of nearby hooks.
Map: Father Campbell's Chapel
This new map introduces a derelict chapel environment located within a wooded area, offering new tactical opportunities and challenges for both Killers and Survivors.
